Terms of Service

By accessing or using LinearInsights, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

LinearInsights provides read-only analytics dashboards for Linear workspaces, including velocity tracking, blocker detection, sprint delivery predictions, and resolution time metrics. We connect to your Linear workspace via OAuth with read-only access and do not modify any data in Linear.

2. Accounts

Access to LinearInsights requires authentication via Linear OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the service. By connecting your Linear workspace, you represent that you have the authority to authorise access to that workspace.

3. Subscriptions and billing

LinearInsights offers a free plan and a paid Pro plan at $29/month. Prices are in USD and may change with 30 days' notice.

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

You may cancel at any time from Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no refunds are issued for partial periods.

We reserve the right to suspend access for unpaid invoices after reasonable notice.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service in any way that violates applicable law.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the service beyond normal use.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
  • Share your account credentials or resell access to the service.
  • Use the service to process data you do not have authorisation to access.

5. Your data

You retain ownership of all data synced from your Linear workspace. By using LinearInsights, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process that data solely to provide the service to you. We do not sell your data to third parties or use it to train AI models.

6. Intellectual property

LinearInsights, its branding, and all software powering the service are owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. Nothing in these terms grants you rights to our intellectual property beyond using the service as described.

7. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or emergency changes at any time. We will not be liable for any loss resulting from downtime or service interruptions.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR THAT ANALYTICS OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LINEARINSIGHTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, with or without notice depending on severity. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to the courts of Paris, France.
